Spielstabil is a third-generation family business that has made toys in Germany since 1919 – over 100 years ago.

Nothing is more fun than sifting, measuring, digging, patting and pouring bucket loads of sand. And we have the perfect selection of toys to kick start imaginations, exercise growing muscles and entertain for hours on end. Whether digging for treasure or building a castle wall to keep that pesky dragon away, we have the toys for the job.

Spielstabil Toys have a great reputation in Europe. Their toys are widely used in German Kindergarten (daycare and pre-schools). All their edges are rounded, handles are designed for children’s hands, the shovel handles are child sized, and protect the hand when digging. You will really notice the difference of having these quality toys in your hands while sharing precious play time at the beach or in the snow.

There is strength in being unbreakable but also in being flexible too. Many of Spielstabil's sand toys are quite bendable which is great for the gentle process of transforming buckets of sand into a giant towering castle.  The soft plastic shovels are strong enough to scoop up the sand but won't hurt little hands during the process.
