My kids are brutal critics and this one actually held their attention for the full 20 minutes, which never happens. The stacking gets genuinely tense once the raft is piled high, and we were all holding our breath on the last island. Easy to teach in a couple minutes, too.

Played this with three adults and we were genuinely tense trying to stack the pieces without toppling the raft. Twenty minutes is the perfect length, so it hits the table way more often than our longer games.

My kids are 6 and 9 and even they can stack the flotsam without me hovering, which says a lot. We've played it five nights straight now, and the balancing act gets genuinely tense near the end.
